Your Story

Every woman's health journey is unique. Your story is yours alone, but it may resonate deeply with someone who is walking a similar path.

Your experience doesn't have to be about a major diagnosis or life-changing event. It could be something as simple as struggling with sleep, finding a routine that improved your wellbeing, learning to prioritise yourself, or navigating the challenges of everyday life.

It may be about a specific health journey such as living with endometriosis, or something more general like navigating menopause. It could be about recovering from surgery or the loss of a loved one, living with a chronic condition, getting back to exercise after pregnancy or discovering the health benefits of making alterations to your nutrition. Whether you're still in the middle of your journey or looking back on it, your story has value.

At Arise, we believe no woman should have to face her health journey alone. By sharing your experience, you can remind another woman that she is seen, understood, and not alone.

Women supporting women. One story at a time.

A few guidelines:

  • Write from the heart, there's no need to be perfect.
  • Around 400 words is ideal, but don't worry if it's a little shorter or longer.
  • Be honest and authentic. Your story doesn't need to have a "happy ending" to make a difference.
  • All submissions are reviewed before publication to ensure they are appropriate for our community.
  • Stories will be anonymised. Please tell us what pseudonym you'd prefer to be called by or we can give you one.
