Frequently Asked Questions

Arise is designed to be a private, supportive space for women navigating change. We know that when you're considering something as personal as your wellbeing, you may have questions about how it works, what it means for you, and how your information is handled.

Here are some of the questions we hear most often.

About Arise

What is Arise, who is it designed for, and what can I do in the app?

Arise is a wellness companion designed to support women through the changes, transitions and seasons of life.

Arise gives you a private space to pause, reflect, understand what you're experiencing and reconnect with yourself. It's private because there are no ads, we will never sell your data, and we do not store your data other than your name and email address - everything else stays on your device.

You can use Arise to explore your emotional and physical wellbeing, reflect on how you're feeling, keep track of various aspects of your wellbeing and discover supportive content and tools designed around your individual experience.

Arise is designed for women navigating life and the many physical, emotional and life changes that can come with it. Our initial health education focus is women going through midlife changes, but our plan is to cover every life stage over time. The nutritional, fitness, emotional wellbeing and community content can be enjoyed by all women of any age.

Arise isn’t here to tell you how you should feel or what you should do. It's here to give you space to understand yourself; to give you options and tools to make informed choices and feel supported along the way.

“Think of Arise as a companion, not a clinician. A place to reconnect with yourself.”

Is Arise suitable for everyone?

Arise has been thoughtfully designed for adult (18+) women navigating change, hormonal transition and the different seasons of life.

We have chosen to make Arise available only to adults to allow us to focus on providing a safe, private and age-appropriate service designed around adult women’s health and wellbeing needs.

Although Arise can personalise content to your health condition, it is not designed to provide medical care, diagnosis or personalised medical treatment. Your health conditions are unique to you.

“Arise is intended to complement the support you receive from the people and professionals in your life, rather than replace it.”

How does Arise personalise my experience?

Arise gets to know you through the information you choose to share.

Your experiences, reflections, preferences and wellbeing information can help Arise provide content, insights and experiences that are more relevant and meaningful to you.

Personalisation is intended to make your experience feel more useful and less generic. The extent to which we can personalise your information is determined by how much information you choose to give us during your onboarding process.

You remain in control of what you choose to share, and you can manage your information through your account and privacy settings.

“Arise is not here to make assumptions about you. It learns from what you choose to tell it.”

Is Arise a medical service or a substitute for professional medical advice?

No. Arise is a wellness and wellbeing app, not a medical service.

Arise provides information, reflection tools and wellbeing support. It does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

If you have questions or concerns about your health, symptoms, medication or treatment, please speak with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

The information available through Arise is intended to support your wellbeing and help you have more informed conversations about your health. It isn't intended to make medical decisions for you.

“Arise supports the conversation. It doesn't replace your qualified healthcare professional.”

There may be limited circumstances where we share information with trusted service providers who help us operate, secure and maintain Arise, such as payment, hosting and technical service providers. “What you share is yours to understand and control.”

Does Arise sell my data or show advertising?

No. Arise does not sell your personal or health information.

Arise’s business model is based on subscriptions rather than advertising. We believe your wellbeing experience should not be interrupted by advertising, nor should your personal information be used to create an advertising profile.

“No ads. No noise. Just space to thrive.”

Should Arise become involved in scientific studies that aim to advance women’s health, you will always be asked whether you wish to participate. Your data will never be sold or shared for research purposes without your explicit consent, even when the research has the potential to benefit women’s health.

Our Privacy Policy explains in full how information is used and whether any information is shared with service providers who help us deliver Arise.

Can I change or correct my information?

Yes. Where Arise allows you to manage information directly within your account, you can update or correct your details through your account settings.

If you are unable to change something yourself, please contact our support team and we'll help you.

You also have rights relating to your personal information that may apply depending on where you live. More information about these rights and how to exercise them is available in our Privacy Policy.

How can I delete my Arise account and associated data?

You are in control of your Arise account.

You can request deletion of your Arise account through the account settings in the Arise app. If you no longer have access to the app, you can also submit a deletion request through our website:

DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT & DATA

When your account is deleted, your personal information will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where certain information needs to be retained where required or permitted by law.

Deleting the Arise app from your device does not automatically delete your Arise account or associated data.

If you have an active subscription, please also remember that deleting your account or removing the app does not necessarily cancel your subscription. Subscription cancellation is managed through the platform where you purchased your subscription.

Your Arise Account

How do I create an account, sign in, or reset my password?

Creating your Arise account is simple.

Follow the sign-up process in the app and use the email address associated with your account to sign in.

If you've forgotten your password, select "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen and follow the instructions to reset it.

If you don't receive your password-reset email, check your spam or junk folder first.

Still having trouble? Contact our support team and we'll help you get back in. Our support team are all humans so they will respond to you during human working hours.

What is included and how do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Your Arise subscription gives you access to the features and content included in the plan you choose.

Before you subscribe, you'll be shown the applicable price, billing period, renewal terms and what is included in your subscription.

If you subscribe, your subscription is managed through the account you used to make the purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings or the relevant app store.

Deleting the Arise app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

If you cancel your subscription, your access will continue until the end of your current paid subscription period, subject to the terms of the platform through which you subscribed.

Help & Support

What should I do if I have an urgent health or safety concern?

Arise is not designed to provide emergency or urgent medical support.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency or are concerned about your immediate safety, please contact your local emergency services or seek urgent medical attention.

For non-urgent health concerns, speak with a qualified healthcare professional who can understand your individual circumstances and provide appropriate advice.

“Your wellbeing comes first. Always.”

What should I do if the app isn't working as expected?

We're still growing, and occasionally technology has a wobble.

If something isn't working as expected, first try closing and reopening the app and checking that you're using the latest available version.

If the problem continues, please contact our support team and, where possible, tell us:

* what you were trying to do

* what happened

* which device you're using

* which version of the app you're using

* and, if possible, include a screenshot

The more we know, the more quickly we can help.

How can I contact support or give feedback?

We're here to help.

If you have a question, experience a problem or simply want to tell us how your Arise experience is going, or offer any suggestions of how we can improve your and other women’s experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

When contacting us about a technical problem, including details about your device, app version and a brief description of what happened can help us resolve the issue more quickly.

And if something isn't working for you, please tell us. Your experience matters.

How can I suggest something I'd like to see in Arise?

Please do!

Arise is being built with women, not simply for women, and your experience can help shape where we go next.

If there's a feature you'd love to have, a topic you'd like us to explore, or something you think would make Arise more useful, we'd love to hear it.

Not every idea will make it into the app, but every thoughtful suggestion helps us understand what matters to the women we're here to support.

Still have a question?

We're happy to help.

If you can't find the answer you're looking for, get in touch with our support team and we'll do our best to help.
